Giving Societies

Now, more than ever, Elkhart General Hospital relies on charitable support from the Community to insure continuation of quality, safe, and innovative care. The community has many needs and we must strive to meet those needs for all, even if they are unable to pay. We do not turn anyone away. Care for all is part of our mission.

There are many ways to support the Hospital through gifts to the Foundation including annual gifts to support delivery of service to everyone, gifts designated for a particular program or service*, gifts to help purchase state of the art equipment*, or deferred gifts to support the Hospital in the future.

To recognize these important gifts, the Elkhart General Hospital Foundation has established giving societies to recognize donors on this web site and in various publications.**

ANNUAL GIVING

These gifts will be recognized on an annual basis. These donors will be designated as members of the 21st CENTURY SOCIETY.

21st CENTURY BENEFACTORS - $1,000 or more

21st CENTURY SUSTAINERS - $500 - $999

21st CENTURY GUARDIANS - $250 - $499

21st CENTURY FRIENDS - $100 - $249

21st CENTURY MEMBERS - Up to $99

LIFETIME GIVING

This category recognizes cumulative giving and will be known as the PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE.

CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE - $500,000+

CIRCLE OF STEWARDSHIP - $250,000 - $499,999

CIRCLE OF CARING - $100,000 - $249,999

CIRCLE OF SHARING - $25,000 - $99,999

CIRCLE OF FRIENDSHIP - $5,000 - $24,999

PLANNED GIVING

This category recognizes those who have informed the Foundation via a letter of intent that they have executed a planned giving strategy (will, trust, etc.) naming the Foundation as beneficiary. This group will be known as SECOND CENTURY VISIONARIES in honor of the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Hospital.

MEMORIALS AND TRIBUTES

This category recognizes donors who make a contribution in any amount in memory of a friend or loved one or in honor of a living person. These donors will be listed annually in all publications where contributions are reported as well as on the website.
