At Elkhart General Hospital, our commitment to improving the lives of our patients and easing the minds of their families goes far beyond our walls. Every year, our associates spend countless hours helping to make this amazing community an even better place to live.
Elkhart General Hospital has adopted Mary Daly Elementary as part of the CARES program, which allows Elkhart General and other community partners to help students reach their full potential. Associatesvolunteer one hour per week to mentor a student one-on-one, an opportunity many Elkhart General associates describe as one of the most rewarding they’ve experienced. Activities are planned by the teacher, so you don’t have to be a homework guru to volunteer. Anyone who wants to help kids succeed is welcome.
Elkhart General is a generous contributor to the United Way and its mission to serve community interests nationwide. In addition, many employees donate their time and energy to assist this non-profit organization.
Fighting Childhood Obesity
