Volunteers Recognized by Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary

ELKHART, IN – At their recent Annual Meeting, the Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary recognized volunteers for their years of dedicated service. Incoming officers were also introduced.

Nancy Magnuson, EGH Auxiliary Registrar, honored 35 year veteran Catherine Hepler and 25 year veterans Therese Jobin, Carol Kemble and Joan Rinehart. Outgoing EGH Auxiliary President Linda Olenczuk handed over the gavel to incoming EGH Auxiliary President Shirley Troup.

More than 46,000 hours of hospital volunteer work was contributed by the Auxiliary’s 282 active members in 2001. Money raised by volunteer activities in 2004 totaled over $133,000 and will go toward the purchase of a Hewlett Packard Sonos 5500 Ultrasound System for the Hospital.
