Physician to Discuss "Diabetes and Foot Care"

ELKHART, IN – The Elkhart General Diabetes Support Group will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, February 4 at 7:00pm in the Elkhart General Hospital Auditorium B, located in the West Wing.

Podiatrist Anna Ballard, from the Elkhart Podiatry Clinic, will discuss the effect diabetes has on feet and will provide important tips for having good foot health.

The Elkhart General Diabetes Support Group gives patients and families dealing with diabetes continuing peer support. Monthly meetings feature a variety of topics related to diabetes presented by experts in the healthcare field. The Diabetes Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month in Elkhart General Hospital Auditorium B and the second Friday of every month in the Healthy Lifestyle Corner at the American Countryside Farmers Market in Elkhart.
