Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Renewal Course Offered by Elkhart General Emergency Medical Services

GOSHEN, IN – Elkhart General Emergency Medical Services is offering a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Renewal Course on Thursday, April 1 from 8:00am – 5:30pm at the Elkhart General Health Education Center, located at 2222 Rieth Blvd., next to the Lowe’s in Goshen.

The PALS Renewal Course is a one-day course designed for the healthcare professional who has successfully completed the PALS course yet has a card that is due to expire, or has recently expired. Participants must be competent in managing the respiratory, shock and cardiac core cases with PALS algorithms. The course is intended for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, advanced level EMS providers, and any healthcare provider responsible for pediatric emergency care.

Course fees are $60 for affiliated providers and Elkhart General Hospital employees; $75 for non-EGH affiliated providers; price does not include textbooks.
