Myers Elected as IONE President

ELKHART, IN – Beverly Myers, RN, MSA, CNA, Elkhart General Hospital, has been named President of the Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives Board of Directors for 2003.

Myers received her education at Pasadena City College, Pasadena, California, University of St. Frances, Joliet, Illinois and University of Notre Dame. She has been employed at Elkhart General Hospital for 20 years, serving as Director of Nursing for the past 13 years. She was recently named the Director of Critical and Cardiovascular Services.

Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives (IONE) is a 200+ member organization of nurse leaders from service and education industries. IONE promotes the education and development of nurses by actively interacting with legislative bodies in order to collaborate in health care planning, preparing nurses at the entry and advanced levels, and assisting members in the development of nursing skills.
