Memory Loss Topic of Seminar at Farmers Market

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General Hospital is offering a free public seminar titled “Memory Loss: What’s Normal, What’s Not and Maintaining Brain Health” on Friday, March 19 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm in the Elkhart General Healthy Lifestyle Corner on the 2nd floor of the American Countryside Farmers Market in Elkhart.
Join Barbara Dzikowski, Program Director for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, as she discusses how memory works and what are normal memory changes associated with aging. Participants will learn about dementia and how it is different from Alzheimer’s disease. They will also learn how Alzheimer’s affects individuals and what can be done to maintain brain health.
