June 10 Diabetes Support Group to Discuss Proper Foot Care

ELKHART – The Elkhart General Hospital Diabetes Support Group will present “Foot Exams” on Friday, June 10 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. in the Prenatal Classroom in the Elkhart General West Wing.

Most people can prevent serious foot problems by following a few simple steps. Tim Quist, DPM, of Concord Foot & Ankle Clinic will lead a discussion on the importance of proper foot care for diabetics.

The Elkhart General Hospital Diabetes Support Group gives adults with diabetes and their families and friends continuing peer support. Monthly meetings feature a variety of topics related to diabetes presented by experts in the healthcare field. The Diabetes Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month in the Elkhart General Hospital Auditorium B, and the second Friday of the month in the Elkhart General Hospital Prenatal Classroom.
