James Shoemaker, M.D., Earns FACEP Designation
June 2, 2011

ELKHART, IN – Board-certified emergency physician James Shoemaker, M.D. of Elkhart Emergency Physicians, received fellowship status in the American College of Emergency Physicians. First established in 1982, the ACEP Fellowship honors members who have made a special contribution to the College of Emergency Physicians and to the field of Emergency Medicine.
 
Dr. Shoemaker received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at the Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He has been on the Elkhart General Hospital Medical Staff since 2007 and continues to serve as a physician-member, active participant and advocate for a variety of Elkhart General Hospital and departmental committees.
