Identity Theft to be Discussed at Farmers Market

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General is offering a free seminar titled “Identity Theft and Scams” on Thursday, January 14 at 12pm. The seminar will be held in the Elkhart General Healthy Lifestyle Corner on the 2nd Floor of the American Countryside Farmers Market in Elkhart.

Detective Al Mackowiak of the Goshen Police Department and Martha Packer, Director of Loss Prevention at Interra Credit Union, will explain identity theft and discuss how you can protect your identity. They will also give details on the various local scams and explain how to prevent yourself from becoming a victim.
