Healthy Eating Topic of Spanish Diabetes Support Group

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General Hospital and Dame Tu Mano will present “Take Action Now: A Healthy Diet is Within Reach!” at a Spanish Diabetes Support Group on Monday, October 18 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Heart City Health Center located at 236 Simpson Avenue in Elkhart.

Eating healthy to obtain optimal health is all about the right foods at the right times. Join Registered Dietician and Certified Diabetes Educator, Cheryl Brandt, MS, RD, CDE, as she helps you decipher what foods to eat, when to eat and how much. Cheryl will also teach you how to manage your weight and control your blood sugar. All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a cookbook.
