Free Cardiovascular Disease Seminar at Farmers Market

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General is offering a free public seminar titled “Cardiovascular Disease: What Role Does Cholesterol Play?” on Thursday, November 12 at 11am. The seminar will be held at the Healthy Lifestyle Corner on the 2nd floor of the American Countryside Farmers Market in Elkhart.
Karen James, MSN, ANP, ARNP-BC, NP-C, Nurse Practitioner for Elkhart General New Directions Wellness Clinic, will identify potential complications, risk factors and prevention strategies for Cardiovascular Disease. She will also provide the risks associated with cholesterol panel components and goals according to the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP).
