Elkhart Hospital Foundation Awards Scholorships

ELKHART – At a recent Elkhart General Hospital Foundation Board of Directors’ meeting, a total of $107,000 in scholarships to 34 students was approved. These scholarships are awarded for study in health care-related fields.

This year, 28 recipients were Elkhart General Hospital employees and family members and 6 were from the general public. The majority of the awards were for undergraduate nursing study totaling $83,000. Graduate study awards totaled $18,000 and allied health study awards totaled $6,000.

The scholarship program has been a long standing priority of the Foundation. Eligible applicants include Elkhart General Hospital employees and their family members, as well as students from the general public.
