Elkhart General Offers Freedom from Smoking Classes

Elkhart General is offering FREE “Freedom from Smoking” classes beginning Monday, October 5 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Classes are held in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at Elkhart General Hospital.

The 8-week program, sponsored by Elkhart General and the American Lung Association, provides coping strategies and quitting techniques that empower rather than pressure the smoker. The class will teach participants how to build motivation to quit, stress management, how to cope with urges and many other topics relating to smoking cessation.
