Elkhart General Offers Freedom from Smoking Classes

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General is offering a FREE “Freedom from Smoking” class beginning Tuesday, September 1 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Classes are held in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at Elkhart General Hospital.
The 8-week program, sponsored by Elkhart General and the American Lung Association, provides coping strategies and quitting techniques that empower rather than pressure the smoker. The class teaches stress management, building motivation to quit, coping with urges, weight control and exercise, and relapse prevention.
