Elkhart General Offers Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course

GOSHEN, IN – Elkhart General Emergency Medical Services is offering a two-day Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 from 8:00am – 5:30pm at the Elkhart General Health Education Center, located at 2222 Rieth Blvd. in Goshen.
The ACLS Course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) cardiac arrest. Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases:
This program is designed for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and advanced level EMS providers responsible for emergency cardiac care.
