Elkhart General Hospital Welcomes General Surgeon, Luis A. Benavente, MD

ELKHART, IN. – General Surgeon, Luis A. Benavente, MD has joined General & Vascular Surgery, PC and the Elkhart General Hospital Medical Staff.

Dr. Benavente earned his medical degree from The Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi in Mexico and completed is general surgery residency at The Mayo Clinic. He then received his fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery at Methodist Hospital. Dr. Benavente is Board Certified in General Surgery.
