Elkhart General Hospital to offer Free Six- Week Smoking Cessation Program

Elkhart, IN. – Elkhart General Hospital is partnering with the American Lung Association to offer a free Freedom from Smoking program beginning January 9, 2011 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in Classroom 2 at Elkhart General Hospital.

The six-week program provides coping strategies and quitting techniques that empower rather than pressure the smoker. The class teaches stress management, building motivation to quit, coping with urges, weight control, exercise and relapse prevention.
