Elkhart General Hospital to Host Lecture on Memory Loss

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General Hospital is offering a free public seminar titled “Memory Loss: What’s Normal, What’s Not and Maintaining Brain Health” on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from Noon – 1 p.m. in the Prenatal Classroom located in the Elkhart General Hospital West Wing.
Join Barbara Dzikowski, Program Director for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana as she discusses how memory works and what are normal memory changes associated with aging. Participants will learn about dementia and how it is different from Alzheimer’s disease. They will also learn how Alzheimer’s affects individuals and what can be done to maintain brain health.
