Elkhart General Hospital Offers International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Course
September 19, 2011

GOSHEN, IN – Elkhart General Emergency Medical Services is offering an International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Course on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Elkhart General Hospital Health Education Center, located at 2222 Rieth Blvd., next to the Lowe’s on US 33 in Goshen.

ITLS is designed for all levels of EMS professionals dedicated to providing quality
pre-hospital trauma care. This two-day program combines classroom learning and hands-on small group skill stations. Scenario-based stations enable each participant to put learned principals to work in simulated trauma situations. This comprehensive approach provides the skills required to rapidly assess, resuscitate, stabilize, and transport victims of multiple traumas.

Cost for the course, including the textbook, is $100 for EGH affiliated providers and EGH employees; and $125 for non-EGH affiliated providers. For more information, call
574-875-6430. Register online, visit www.egh.org.
