Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Medical Services Offers Advanced Cardiac Life Support Experienced Provider Course
October 8, 2010

GOSHEN, IN – Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Medical Services is offering an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS-EP) Experienced Provider Course on Thursday, October 28 from 8:00am – 5:30pm at the Elkhart General Hospital Health Education Center, located at 2222 Rieth Blvd., next to the Lowe’s on US 33 in Goshen.

This course is designed for experienced ACLS providers who wish to renew their provider status through discussion of cases that go beyond algorithm scenarios as presented in the traditional ACLS and ACLS-R courses. It provides a stimulus for clinicians to identify areas in resuscitation that deal with special circumstances pertaining to patients experiencing not only cardiac emergencies, but also toxicological and environmental emergencies, and adverse conditions associated with electrolyte imbalances. Practitioners who have renewed ACLS several times will find this course a fresh and challenging educational experience.

Course fees are $100 for affiliated providers and EGH Employees; $125 for non-EGH affiliated providers. For more information, call Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Medical Services at (574) 523-3127 or (574) 523-3291. To register, visit www.egh.org.
