Discussion on Bipolar Disorder at Elkhart General Hospital

ELKHART – Elkhart General Hospital is offering a free public seminar titled “Life on a Roller-coaster: Living With Bipolar Disorder” on Thursday, Feb. 3 from Noon – 1 p.m. in the Prenatal Classroom in the Elkhart General West Wing.
Join Paul Shelley, MSW, LCSW, of the Elkhart General Hospital Center for Behavioral Medicine as he discusses the diagnosis and treatment of bipolar disorder. Participants will learn the symptoms of depression and mania; the difference between major depression and bipolar disorder; difficulties living with untreated bipolar disorder and common treatments. A question and answer session will follow the lecture.
