Diabetes Support Group to be Held in Spanish

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General Hospital and Dame Tu Mano present “How to Prepare and Make the Most Out of Your Doctor’s Visits” at a Diabetes Support Group, in Spanish, on Monday, May 17 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at Heart City Health Center located at 236 Simpson Avenue in Elkhart.

Certified Diabetes Educator, Cheryl Brandt, MS, RD, CD, will help you discern your responsibility in controlling your diabetes, and how to effectively communicate your efforts to your physician. Cheryl will also discuss what questions a diabetic patient needs to be asking his or her physician. This valuable discussion will empower and motivate those who have diabetes to effectively take control of their lives.
