Audiologist to Speak at Elkhart General Hospital

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart General Hospital is offering a free public seminar “How Loud is Too Loud” on Wednesday, October 19 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. in the Prenatal Classroom in the Elkhart General Hospital West Wing.
Loud sounds have a physical impact on our bodies, increasing our heart rate, stress levels and ultimately resulting in hearing loss and often tinnitus. Hearing loss and tinnitus due to exposure from loud noise is preventable. Join Sharon Hirstein, MA, FAAA, Board Certified Audiologist and owner of Elkhart Audiology Rehab to learn how you can protect your hearing for a lifetime and still enjoy your favorite activities.
