A. Majid Malik, M.D., Named Medical Director of the Elkhart General Hospital Sleep Disorders Center

ELKHART, IN – Board certified in Sleep Medicine, as well as Psychiatry, A. Majid Malik, M.D. has been named the Medical Director of the Elkhart General Hospital Sleep Disorders Center.

As the Director of the Sleep Disorders Center, Dr. Malik will be responsible for the qualifications of all technical personnel, as well as for the quality assurance for the program. He will provide direct and ongoing oversight of testing, provide education regarding sleep medicine, and act as the liaison between other physicians related to sleep medicine.

Dr. Malik is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Psychiatric Association and the Indiana Psychiatric Society. Additionally, Dr. Malik works with both adults and geriatric clients across the spectrum of psychiatric disorders at the Elkhart General Hospital Center for Behavioral Medicine.
