At Elkhart General Hospital, we require that all media inquires come through the Marketing and Community Relations Department. All requests for information, including: patient conditions, interviews, photographs, live shots, b-roll, statements, etc., about Elkhart General and all affiliated practices, must be cleared first through Marketing. Please understand that all Elkhart General departments have been trained to refer media calls to Marketing.

We would prefer that you call us before coming to any Elkhart General facility to shoot footage, regardless of whether you plan to interview anyone. Patient privacy is of top concern to us, and therefore we require media to be escorted while on site.

Our office is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members of the media who require assistance after hours, on the weekends or holidays should call the Hospital switchboard at 574-294-2621 who will page the Nursing Supervisor on call.
