Volunteer Services

If you are looking for a unique opportunity to serve others, consider volunteering at Elkhart General Hospital. Only through the generosity and goodwill of our volunteers are we able to provide many of the extras our patients, families and visitors enjoy.

• Auxiliary
  The Auxiliary adds an “extra dimension” to the Hospital’s caring atmosphere and has a positive impact on patients, family members, visitors, and hospital employees alike.
  
• Blood Donor Center
  Elkhart General’s all volunteer blood donor system provides for nationwide blood coverage for all persons in the Elkhart area.
  
• Meals on Wheels
  A service offered by Elkhart General Hospital. One or two meals are delivered five days a week (Monday – Friday) to the homes or apartments of the elderly, ill or those needing temporary help.
• Junior Auxiliary
  Junior Auxiliary is a program for teens age 14 or older or in the 9th grade who are are sincerely interested in providing patient care.
