Surgical Services

The goal of the Surgical Services Department is to provide safe, effective and cost-efficient care to patients undergoing surgical intervention or invasive procedures based on the scope and complexity of the patient needs.

We provide quality care throughout the utilization of the nursing process when providing care to patients. "Patients" include infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in good health, terminally ill or physically and/or mentally challenged.

This care encompasses patient and/or significant other education, pain management, maintenance of patient safety, airway management, and maintenance of infection control standards on all patients seen in this department.
