Videofluroscopy is an x-ray procedure done to evaluate the swallowing function. This procedure determines what foods are safe to swallow and therapy techniques can be done during the procedure to determine if foods can be swallowed safely.
At Elkhart General Hospital, we have digital recording equipment which, in most cases, allows our Speech Language Pathologist to review the results with the patient immediately following the exam.
