Senior Swing

Exercise can add years to your life – and life to your years. As you age, your health and wellness naturally decline, but with exercise you can help reduce or even postpone the effects of aging while improving your quality of life. With regular exercise you can:

            • Improve the efficiency of your heart
            • Maintain bone mass and reduce the risk of broken bones
            • Improve strength and flexibility
            • Increase metabolism
            • Improve overall wellness

Health care professionals will take you through a gentle, low-impact aerobics class specifically designed for the mature exerciser. The one-hour class will include aerobic, strength, flexibility, and coordination exercises.

Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services gym. A physician’s release is required for all participants.
