Cardiothoracic surgeons use these suites to perform various kinds of replacements or repairs that improve the performance of the heart. The most common is the Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, comprising about 80% of the procedures. Also known simply as “bypass surgery,” the operation ranges from “single” to “quadruple,” depending on how many grafts are necessary.
