Four in ten Hoosiers have "prediabetes," a condition which, left untreated, can lead to full-blown type 2 diabetes. And these people don't even know they're at risk. Are YOU one of these people?

Find out! Take this test to see if you are at risk for having or developing type 2 diabetes. This simple test, developed by the American Diabetes Association, will give you an individual risk score. And if your score comes out on the high side, DON'T take it lightly, because diabetes is a very serious - potentially fatal - condition. In Indiana, it is the sixth leading cause of death, and the most common cause of blindness, kidney disease, and amputations.
Share your risk score with your doctor. Depending on your condition, there are a number of steps that can be taken to prevent the development of diabetes - or to better manage it if you've already got the disease.
