• Radiation Oncology Center
  The Radiation Oncology Center (ROC) at Elkhart General Hospital offers an innovative program for patients undergoing radiation treatments.
• Our All New Oncology Care Unit
  The new Oncology Care Unit at Elkhart General Hosptal is a 20 room inpatient unit that specializes in the treatment of cancer. Our goal is to support you and your family through this difficult time in your life by offering state of the art medical care, up to date treatments and medications, access to the latest in imaging technology accompanied by personal and spiritual guidance.

• Breast Cancer Clinic
  An interdisciplinary team meets in a collective session with each patient to explain medical information, discuss treatment options, and offer guidance and support.
• Cancer Survivorship Clinic
  Life after cancer treatment can sometimes present both physical and emotional challenges. All too often, individuals who complete cancer treatment and are cancer free have complex healthcare concerns that repeatedly go unmet. That’s why Elkhart General Hospital developed the Cancer Survivorship Clinic, a long-term follow up program designed to create a bridge between cancer treatment and your primary care physician.
• Cancer Clinical Trials
  At any one time, there are numerous cancer clinical trials going on that seek to improve the care and outcome for cancer patients worldwide. Some of these trials involve only our patients; other trials include people from across the U.S. or from other countries.

  Each year Elkhart General Hospital publishes an Annual Report on our Comprehensive Cancer Program. The report gives detailed information on cases and outcomes, new treatments and clinical trails, and the many support services available to Elkhart General patients.

• A Simple Test Can Save Your Life!
  Colon Cancer is the third most common cancer in men and women and the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. When detected at an early stage, it is 90% survivable. However, if the cancer spreads to other parts of the body, the survival rate drops to 9%.
