Diabetes Support Group

Description

The Diabetes Support Group gives patients and families dealing with diabetes continuing peer support. Meetings feature a variety of topics related to diabetes and are presented by experts in the healthcare field.

April 1 - Open Forum

Diabetes can seem to be an overwhelming disease, because it impacts so many areas of your daily life. It is important to have support from family, friends and from other people with diabetes. You can get that support by joining Elkhart General Certified Diabetes Educator, Lynda Sardeson, MSA, RN, as she facilitates the Diabetes Support Group in an open forum. This time will allow for questions and answers as well as peer support.

April 9 - Diabetes & Foot Care

Join Podiatrist Anna Ballard, from the Elkhart Podiatry Clinic, as she discusses the effect diabetes has on feet and will provide important tips for having good foot health.
