Super Saturday Childbirth Prep Class

Description

If you can't attend an evening class, Super Saturdays are for you! This one-day class is available for expectant parents who are unable to attend a series of evening classes.

A wealth of information is given at a fast pace. Information covered includes the labor and delivery process, including recognizing signs and symptoms of labor, comfort measures for the mother, the supportive role of the coach, and relaxation and breathing techniques. You’ll learn about emergency and scheduled cesarean section, as well as the use of epidural anesthesia during childbirth. Also discussed are postpartum care for the mother and newborn baby.

A tour of the Special Beginnings Maternity Center is included.
