Community Friends and Family CPR Class

Description

This class targets all lay rescuers, such as school-aged children and families members of patients who are at risk of sudden cardiac death. Students will be issued a course participation card.

Students will be instructed on

  • Chain of survival
  • Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, and stroke
  • Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO) in adults and children
  • Injury prevention in children
  • Course will be divided into three categories: Adult CPR, Infant and Child CPR, and CPR for All Ages
