Breastfeeding for Success Class

Description

If you’ve decided to breastfeed, you know that it’s the best way to get your baby off to a healthy start in life. In this class, facilitated by Certified Lactation Consultants, you’ll learn the keys to breastfeeding success, including tips about latching on, positioning at the breast, and ways to avoid potential problems. Discussion will include ways to express or pump breast milk and the proper storage of breast milk. And as part of our commitment to Family-Centered Maternity Care, the active role that fathers can play as well as community resources for breastfeeding mothers is also discussed.
