Your Health Buddy goes anywhere there’s a phone jack and an electrical outlet. Keep it on your kitchen counter, on your bedside table or anywhere you prefer. You decide where and when you use it. Any time at your convenience, your Health Buddy is ready with questions and instructions specifically designed for you. The Health Buddy provides medical professionals with the kind of up-to-date information they need to give you the best possible care.


You can rest assured that the information collected during your daily Health Buddy sessions is secure and confidential. No one will have access to your data unless they have been authorized by you or your healthcare provider.

Here’s how Health Buddy Works

The Health Buddy plugs into your telephone line and an electrical outlet. You will be asked a series of simple questions about your health status. You answer by pushing one of its four blue buttons. The entire process takes only a few minutes.

And that’s all there is to it! You can answer the questions on the Health Buddy any time during the day that’s convenient for you.

After you complete your session, your Health Buddy will silently and automatically dial a toll-free number to send your information to your health care team. It also then receives new questions and helpful information for your next session. Your doctor and authorized health professionals will be able to access the information to evaluate your progress and help provide you with even better care.

Frequent Questions

Will the Health Buddy increase my telephone or electric bills? No, Health Buddy dials a toll-free number, so no charges will show up on your phone bill if you have standard phone service. It uses less power than the light bulb in your refrigerator, so you will see no noticeable increase in your electic bill.

Can I use my telephone while it is connected to Health Buddy? Yes, you can use your phone as usual. If you happen to pick up the telephone while your Health Buddy is using the line, it will automatically stop and reschedule its call so you can use the phone.

Where is the best place to put my Health Buddy? You can put it anywhere there is an electrical outlet and a working telephone jack. Many people have put it in the kitchen or next to their favorite chair in the living room. Just be sure that the electrical outlet you choose is not connected to a wall switch that can be turned on and off.

What if I am going to be away from home for an extended period? Take it with you! It’s small, lightweight and rugged, so it is easily packed. It will work in your hotel room, at a friend’s or relative’s house - anywhere there is a power outlet and a phone jack.

What if I accidentally press the wrong button when answering a question? No problem. At the end of each session you will have the option to review and change your answers.

Do I need to have a computer or know how to access the internet? Not at all. All you need to do is read the screen and press the buttons. Is the Health Buddy difficult to install? No. Installing it is very easy. Just follow the simple instructions that come with the device.
