Dr. Porile is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His undergraduate education was at Duke University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. His medical education, residency, and fellowship were all completed at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Dr. Porile is the author of numerous articles and abstracts published in the American Society of Nephrology, Seminars in Dialysis, PD International, and the American Journal of Gastroenterology, among others. Dr. Porile holds memberships in the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Nephrology, the National Kidney Foundation, and the St. Joseph County Medical Society.
Dr. Porile resides with his wife, Cristyne, in South Bend.
