After graduating magna cum laude from the University of
Southwestern Indiana, Dr. Mathis earned his medical degree from the
Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Mathis served as Resident in Internal Medicine at the
Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a Cardiology Fellowship at
the University of Wisconsin. His research activities include numerous
studies and comparisons assessing the effectiveness of particular
medications to treat various coronary conditions, including Acute
Coronary Syndrome and Atrial fibrillation.
Dr. Mathis is an
active member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the
American College of Cardiology, and the Indiana State Medical
Association. In 2009, Dr. Mathis completed training in Vascular
Interpretation for physicians.
