Life after cancer can sometimes present emotional and physical challenges. But you can find support and the answers to your questiosn in the Cancer Survivorship Support Group. Each meeting consists of a 15-20 minute educational presentation, followed by an open discussion. Meetings are quarterly. For more information, call 574-389-4887
Circle of Hope Breast Cancer Support Group
For those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, the Circle of Hope Breast Cancer Support Group offers a safe environment in which participants can share their questions and fears, learn how others are coping, and find friends who can walk with them through their struggles and triumphs with cancer. I Can Cope Support Group
Co-sponsored by the Center for Cancer Services and the American Cancer Society, the I Can Cope Support Group education course is for adult cancer patients, their family members and friends. In a series of classes, doctors, nurses, health care professionals and community representatives will present factual and straightforward information and answers to your cancer-related questions. Man to Man Prostate Cancer Support Group
Co-sponsored by the Center for Cancer Services and the American Cancer Society, the Man to Man Prostate Cancer Support Group offers encouragement, support and solutions to common problems associated with prostate cancer. For more information, call the American Cancer Society at 866-522-2111.
Ostomy Support Group
Co-sponsored by Elkhart General Home Care and the Center for Cancer Services, the Ostomy Support Group offers physical and emotional support for people with or affected by an ostomy, colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy. For more information, call 574-523-3476.
Ribbon of Hope Cancer Support Group
The Ribbon of Hope Cancer Support Group is a nondenominational spiritual cancer support ministry offering one on one encouragement, support, hope and prayer, for both newly diagnosed cancer patients and those in treatment. For more information, call 574-389-7379.
